Maui extravaganza and LIVE show~

Westin Maui Resort

I am so excited to fly to Maui in September for my 15th wedding Anniversary. My husband and I vacationed in Hawaii for our honeymoon and vowed to return someday soon. Of course 15 years later, and 2 kids and crazy lives later, we are finally going back. Like most parents, it is hard to get away when you have kids and careers that need you back home. I believe wholeheartedly that is is crucial to get away as a couple to rejuvenate your marriage and keep the spark alive. My husband and I have taken mini getaways, but I admit that I am the one that allowed guilt and nervousness to keep us at bay. Now that my kids are older -or at least old enough to understand why we are going away- it was time to take the leap.

Something I am SUPER excited about, is that fact that I will be hosting a LIVE Mom TV web show from Maui. I will share all the details from our adventure (from morning sail rides, a zip line tour and a romantic anniversary celebration) to more importantly a HUGE assortment of amazing giveaways!!

  1. I would love to win this for the same reasons you are going – need a getaway with hubs! We had our 10 year anniversary this year and when we got married, we said we’d have our honeymoon on our 10 year (didn’t have one when we got married). Well this year we were both out of work, so didn’t do anything. :( would love to win!

  2. Almost 25 years ago my hubby and went to Paradise for our honeymoon. Ok so I had just started a new job and so we got married at 11 in the morning so that we could drive to Paradise Lodge at Mt. Rainier National Park and I had to be back to work on Monday.
While we have had tons of great adventures over the years – I would LOVE to win this vacation so that hubby and I could go on a proper honeymoon. We have never been to Hawaii together and it would be a great way to commemorate 25 years together.

  3. My husband and I visited Maui 11 years ago and had the time of our lives. We now have two children and several businesses. Over the years taking time for vacation became few and far between(not 2 mention the extra cash). We would really enjoy this opportunity to recharge & spend some relaxing time together especially is such a beautiful place.

  4. I would love to have a “real” vacation. It’s been a long time since I had that pleasure and feel like it would refuel me. It would be so nice to just take time to relax and have fun in a beautiful setting! Maui would be a dream come true!

  5. This would be a dream come true! Have always wanted to see beautiful Hawaii & visit the islands. I would love to experience authentic Hawaiin dining & a luau. I want to see volcanoes, the beaches & the Pearl Harbor musuem to name a few of the attractions.

  6. I followed all of the appropriate tweeps (how was I not following you already?)

Question is…Why WOULDN’T I want to win any of these? It’s Hawaii! Oh and it’s totally on our goal board to visit someday. I guess now would be ok…

  7. My husband and I wanted to visit Hawaii for our 10th but ended up buying a house instead. We were wanting to go this year but it wasn’t in the cards. I haven’t been in so long and REALLY need a Hawaiian vacation. A getaway with the DH wouldn’t hurt either. I’ve followed everyone on Twitter so pick me pick me! @ColoScienceMom

  8. Sorry, forgot to say why i would love one of these prizes. Because its Hawaii. Need I say more? Ok, my hubby and I never had a real honeymoon, our 19th is coming and I would love to surprise him with a great trip. We simply could never afford to go in this lifetime.

  9. Our 10th Anniversary is coming up in November and it would be great to re-visit Maui where my husband was living just before we got engaged. I was able to visit for one week then and we both have been talking about going back ever since – it’s been a long time! Would love to win!

  10. Dh and I have been married for almost 7 years and never have gone on an a offical honeymoon. We have always heard that maui and gorgerous and would like to try to win the trip so we can spend some time after our next baby is born.

  11. What mom doesn’t deserve a trip? I know I don’t deserve it anymore than a lot of mommy’s out there. But I definitely want it more ;) Definitely need a time out with my husband from our crazy everyday lives. Thanks for taking the time to do such an awesome giveaway!

  12. I have looked at staying at the Maui Westin several times but it seems like everytime we start to get our ducks in a row for Hawaii something comes up with the little guys health. If we do ever make it, this is absolutely where I would look to book a room!

  13. On a funny note my mother would tell you that I have visited Hawaii…although didn’t see much considering she was pregnant with me on the way. I have always thought growing up the in a small desert town what it would be like to see somewhere so pristine and tropical. Now working in Non-profit and a newly single mom of two, I am even more ready for a vacation to remind me where I’ve been and where Im going. Good luck to everyone!

  14. I would love to win this trip. After my Fiance’ was killed I gave up on love. I started using the computer as a way to cope with the whole thing and then found as I healed it opened a whole new world to me. flash forward 10 years. I was introduced to the virtual world of Second Life. Over time I become good friends with a guy from Portugal. As our friendship grew I found myself talking to him for hours a night. Then one night I realized that I had fallen in love. When I mentioned it to him he informed me that he had felt that way for sometime.
That was 3 years ago. He has been here twice and this year it worked out so he has a whole month off. He will be here during our “3 year anniversary” I would love to be able to spend some of the precious little Physical time we get together in Paradise.
