4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 1/2 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
Salt and pepper
1 cup chicken broth, low-sodium (optional)
Brown bacon in skillet until crispy. Remove from pan and drain on paper towel. Add olive oil to skillet and sauté garlic 1-2 minutes. Add brussels sprouts, season with salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes. Then add broth.
Cover and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 5 minutes. Until tender. Transfer with slotted spoon to serving dish and top with bacon bits.
