Law of Attraction

This week I wanted to focus on a topic that is all over the media right now. It stems from a movie titled “The Secret”, and it highlights the Law of Attraction. It states that whatever is going on in your mind is what you are attracting to your life. I have always been a firm believer in these concepts, so I thought it was fitting that I share some key points with you. Very simply, likes attract likes. So, if you continue to focus on what you don’t want in your life, you will continue to attract more of the same. If, however, you focus your thoughts on what you do want in your life, you too will attract that into your life. Would you like to know what you can do right now to turn your life around? Gratitude. “What we think about and thank about is what we bring about”. Visualize as clearly as possible your future. By visualizing, you need to see it and feel it, that is where the action begins. Visualize having what you already want, be grateful that it is in your life, even if it is not yet in your life, and you will begin the process of manifesting it. I know I have expressed these same beliefs in past Monday Morning Tips, but this video highlights it in a way that is much more profound and enlightening. Here are some tips to get you started on this process:

1. Create a vision board
Find pictures of what you want to attract. Your dream home, a harmonious relationship, traveling around the world, having a family. Every day look at this board and get into the feeling state of already having acquired these wants. How does it feel? Feel yourself walking into your dream home. What feelings surface?

2. Focus on what you do want
So often, we focus on what we don’t want in our life. I don’t want debt. I don’t want to be lonely anymore. I don’t feel connected to my partner. By focusing on the don’ts, you are continuing to attract that exact thing into your life. Focus on what you do want. I am living a prosperous and abundant life. I am in a loving relationship. I am attracting wealth and opportunities.

3. Vibrations
Vibrations dictate the law of attraction. We are either in a positive state of vibration or a negative state of vibration. When you are positive, you feel good, and this vibration attracts more positive situations into your life. When you are in negative vibration, you feel bad, and you continue to attract negative situations into your life. You can change your vibration anytime by focusing on how you feel. Feel it and let it resonate in you
